It’s been clawin’ its way up, 31% since the turn of the year. Bitcoin [BTC] is busy tryin’ to poke a hole in that $94,500 ceiling, and XRP? Well, it just went and lapped ‘em both, and even Binance Coin [BNB] for good measure. Now it’s holdin’ down the number four spot on that CoinMarketCap list. Fancy that. 🧐

They say the exchanges are lookin’ mighty empty. Apparently, XRP reserves are down to levels they haven’t seen in eight years – a 57% drop since October 2025. So folks aren’t just lookin’ at it, they’re takin’ it. Everything was quiet at the end of last year, then BAM, a surge. But even an old hand knows a drop in exchanges doesn’t guarantee a supply squeeze. It just means people are holdin’ onto their coins. Maybe they got a feelin’…or maybe they’re just hoarders. 🤷🏻‍♂️

XRP buying pressure on the rise

Now, about those Spot ETFs…January 5th saw a good forty-six million dollars flowin’ in, most of it to XRPZ and XRP. Even with all the worryin’ in the wider market, folks were still puttin’ their money down. Seems like a change in the wind, doesn’t it? Maybe this XRP is a frontrunner, maybe it’s just a good story. Time will tell.

In the last twenty-four hours, XRP climbed a good 11.2%, stealin’ the number two spot for best performer among the top twenty. Market cap’s sittin’ pretty at $144 billion. That’s a lot of nothin’, ain’t it? 😂

Looks like the charts turned bullish – a move above $1.96, and folks are reclaimin’ that $2.28 resistance. The RSI’s jumpin’ around like a june bug, but it don’t seem likely to drop back down just yet. And the A/D indicator? Shows a whole mess of buyin’ pressure. It’s all pointin’ one way. This thing could keep climbin’ for a while.
