Are the Financially Discerning Giving Up the Ghost?

Really, one does wonder. A substantial whale – frightfully vulgar, the size of it! – decamped with 11M WLFI (a sum, I’m told, of $2.15M), triggering a bit of a flutter amongst the less stout-hearted. Though, one mustn’t generalize; other whales remain, shall we say, uncommitted. 🤷‍♀️

What’s All the Fuss About, Darling?

Futures Netflow has taken a rather decisive tumble to -14.81M, and the retail chaps are selling with an enthusiasm one usually reserves for discounted champagne. 192M WLFI more selling than buying, you see. Rather gloomy. It’s all pushing the poor token towards the $0.186 support, which, frankly, sounds dreadfully uncomfortable.

World Liberty Financial [WLFI] has managed a momentary reprieve, clinging to the $0.20 mark after a brief dip to $0.19. One almost feels sorry for it. ✨

At present, it’s trading at $0.200 – a paltry 0.92% increase on the day. A flicker of hope, perhaps, though one shouldn’t get carried away.

Prior to this minor rally, the dear thing had been tumbling downwards, losing 36% in the last 30 days. Some-the less resilient-are declaring themselves fatigued and retreating to the sidelines. Perfectly understandable, really. 🍹

What on Earth are the WLFI Whales Doing?

As WLFI dipped below $0.2, a decidedly panicky whale offloaded its holdings with alarming haste. Lookonchain reports 11 million WLFI, worth a rather substantial $2.15 million, exchanged for 521 Ethereum. One suspects a swift exit was paramount. 💨

Such behaviour, naturally, suggests a lack of confidence. Though, one mustn’t assume *all* whales are prone to hysterics.

Nansen’s data, (dreadfully complicated, all figures and charts) indicates that these whales have, in fact, been accumulating tokens for three consecutive days. A positive balance change, you see. Rather contradictory, isn’t it? 🤔

Over this period, they’ve acquired a rather impressive 61 million tokens. Sustained demand, they call it. Hmm.

Derivatives are a Bit of a Mess

The Futures market, dear boy, is looking distinctly peakish. Investors are rather withdrawing their funds.

CoinGlass informs us that Futures Inflow dipped to $270.55 million while Outflow rather boldly jumped to $285.36 million. A Netflow of -$14.81 million, a 68% change. One could hardly call it cheerful. 🌧️

Naturally, an increase in Outflow suggests traders are hastily covering their positions. A thoroughly unrefined spectacle, really.

The Retail Crowd is Getting Restless

And now, the retail investors are joining in the fray! Selling activity on the Spot market has taken a rather dramatic turn. World Liberty Financial has recorded a negative Delta for three days running. How very declasse.

A cumulative sell volume of 685.25 million compared to a mere 495.81 million in buys. The numbers rather speak for themselves.

A negative buy-sell delta of -192.44 million. Aggressive selling, indeed. One shudders to think.

Exchange activity reflects this rather gloomy mood.

CoinGlass reveals that WLFI Spot Netflow has turned positive for the first time in a fortnight. At last report, it was $507k -an indication, alas, of increased selling pressure.

Historically, this sort of behaviour hasn’t boded well. Low prices are almost guaranteed.

Is More Suffering Imminent?

World Liberty Financial is, quite frankly, besieged by bearishness. Investors across the board seem intent on selling.

The Stochastic RSI has fallen to 28 (oversold, apparently), while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) lingers at 44 – firmly in bearish territory.

A most disheartening setup, really.

If the relentless selling continues, WLFI will undoubtedly fall below $0.20, with $0.186 as a likely stopping point. However, a valiant effort by the bulls may push it towards $0.224. One can always dream, I suppose.🍸
