Solana (<a href="https://jpyxx.com/sol-usd/">SOL</a>) Explodes 13% amid Massive Tokenization Push

Solana, represented by SOL and currently valued at $196.8, has surged more than 13% over the past day following news of increased institutional adoption. CMB International, a major asset manager in Asia, has teamed up with DigiFT and OnChain to tokenize its Hong Kong-Singapore Mutual Recognition Fund on the Solana blockchain. Over the last 24 hours, the 24h volatility stands at 11.9% and the market cap is a substantial $106.32 billion, with trading volume amounting to $11.87 billion.

Under the banner of CMB International, a prominent asset manager in Asia, has transformed their HK-Singapore Mutual Recognition Fund into a digital token named CMBMINT. This conversion was achieved in partnership with DigiFT and OnChain in Hong Kong and Singapore.

This action indicates growing faith in Solana’s blockchain potential, a platform that has previously demonstrated success with Solana-based meme coins.

Uptick in Volume

In just a day, the volume of the token’s trades experienced a significant boost, climbing by 80% to reach approximately $11.23 billion. At this moment, Solana (SOL) is being exchanged around $196 and has a market capitalization of roughly $105 billion.

In the past, Solana hit its highest point ever at $294 in January, but its first quarter was marked by turmoil. Following this rough patch, its value started to rebound, reaching a peak of $205 on July 23. After that peak, it has settled and stabilized.

Simultaneously, information from the blockchain showed that the meme coin creator Pump.fun transferred 86,255 SOL ($16.22 million) to Kraken, rather than following through with their intended purchase of PUMP tokens via a buyback.

Instead of purchasing more $PUMP six hours ago, Pumpfun (@pumpdotfun) transferred an additional 86,254 SOL (equivalent to approximately $16.22 million) into Kraken.

They placed a grand total of approximately 3.93 million Solana tokens (equivalent to 715.5 million US dollars) into Kraken exchange at a price of $182 and then sold 264,373 Solana tokens for around 41.64 million US Dollars in the form of US Dollar Coin (USDC) at a price point of $158.

So far, Pump.fun has transferred a grand total of 3.93 million Solana tokens, equivalent to approximately $715.5 million, to Kraken. This transfer involved the sale of more than 264,000 Solana tokens, which were exchanged for around 41.64 million US Dollar Coin at an average price of about $158 per token.

SOL Price Toward $215 Target

Solana has just surpassed a downward trendline on its 4-hour chart, thus finishing an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern that started on July 23. Crypto analyst Nebraskangooner anticipates that if this upward movement continues, SOL might potentially reach $215 in the near future.

As a researcher analyzing the daily Solana (SOL) price chart, I’ve noticed that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is signaling robust bullish momentum. However, it hasn’t yet surpassed the overbought threshold, suggesting there could be potential for additional growth. If SOL manages to close above the $200 mark, it might revisit its July highs in the immediate future.

The Bollinger Bands indicate the price is approaching a resistance level around $196.50, which might signal a bullish trend. Yet, this could also mean a temporary pause in the market if this resistance holds firm. Keep an eye on potential immediate support at $182 and stronger support at $168 for traders.
