SocialFi Token LOUD Tanks 62% After Boasting Big Presale; What a Peculiar Circus!

Well now, ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round and behold the latest spectacle from the world of modern finance, where a token called LOUD—sure as shooting—has tumbled a staggering 62%, despite starting out looking mighty promising.

This here LOUD, a fresh-faced SocialFi experiment riding high on the Solana rails, had a presale that made folks believe they’d struck gold—raising more than twice what they set out to gather. But, as the good Lord might say, “The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”

Why Is LOUD Token’s Price Dropping?

You see, this particular contraption is a Kaito-powered “attention market” scheme. It rewards those who shout loudest about LOUD on social media—like a town crier with a smartphone, only less reliable.

Every week, a bit of the coin’s trading fees is meant to flow back to the folks who stir up the most talk—those generating “mindshare,” as they call it—if they’ve connected their wallets and joined the ruckus. In theory, they get real SOL for their trouble, spreading the word faster than gossip at a quilting bee.

Now, this fandango started with an Initial Attention Offering (IAO) on HoloworldAI’s platform, where gullible investors aimed to raise 400 SOL for just under half of a billion LOUD tokens. Lo and behold, the presale scooped up over 1,015 SOL—more than anyone figured—and most of the tokens, nearly all, were snapped up like hotcakes. That’s an early show of interest, all right.

But here’s where the plot thickens: the price went from a mere pittance of $0.0003 to an all-time high of $0.032. Sounds like a rocket, doesn’t it? 🚀 Well, it was, until gravity took over. The dang thing fell faster than a cow off a wagon, dropping 62%. As I write this, it’s trading at a meager $0.011, just a shadow of its former glory.

The market cap—think of it as the size of the whole circus—shrunk from a hefty $32.7 million to only around $10.5 million. Meanwhile, one wise analyst remarked that the whole hullabaloo was hampered by launch troubles and a lack of a plan for what’s next—like a squirrel without a direction, darting aimlessly.

“These issues during launch and an absence of a clear roadmap left folks scratching their heads,” he said, probably while sipping his coffee.

Early birds, those who bought during the pre-show or whitelisted themselves, made off with some tidy profits. But those rushing in just fifteen minutes after the curtain rose mostly faced losses—like betting on a donkey to win the Kentucky Derby.

And if that weren’t enough, the whole team behind LOUD previously launched a token called JONES, which has since lost 99% of its value—a veritable ghost of a coin now. Which, of course, isn’t exactly inspiring confidence among the onlookers.

“A shill by one influencer is worrying, but if several are singing the same tune—well, that’s a sign they’re all compromised,” posted a crypto influencer with a hint of sarcasm, no doubt.

Meanwhile, Andrei Grachev, a bigwig at DWF Labs, observed that folks are downright competing over influence and yield, trying to build fame without revealing their faces—like bandits hiding in the underbrush, hungry for quick money and outsized influence.

“Early DeFi turned liquidity into incentives, and now SocialFi is borrowing that same crooked horse and buggy,” he said. “But mind you, this patchwork field is new and unstable—more like a carnival than a reliable handshake.”

He warned that many projects will come and go faster than corn shucks in a windstorm, and only a few may stick around long enough to be worth a hill of beans. The question is whether these social attention schemes will turn into something ongoing and meaningful, or just a passing mirage in the desert.
