Shytoshi Kusama, the main spokesperson for Shiba Inu, recently discussed intriguing topics like spirituality and artificial intelligence in a new video update.
Kusama posted a link to his newest video, explaining that it summarizes everything they’ve talked about so far.
On April 28th, Kusama suggested he’d be discussing a new technology/AI platform – currently being finalized – with the SHIB community. He mentioned the conversation would happen “very soon.”

Kusama recently announced that the waitlist for his project will launch next week, if all goes according to plan. He also mentioned they are still fixing some minor issues before the launch, in a recent tweet.

Kusama announced they were developing an AI app to help with relationships earlier in the year, and recent updates from the Shiba Inu team’s lead ambassador on X suggest the project is moving forward.
Kusama recently updated his X (formerly Twitter) profile to reflect his current focus: backlog, marketing, and positioning. He remains consistently active on the platform.
The Shiba Inu community is watching closely for new developments, which are expected to be positive for everyone involved with SHIB.

Japanese cryptocurrency platform Rakuten Wallet now lets users buy, sell, and trade Shiba Inu (SHIB) using Japanese yen. Users can even convert their Rakuten Points—earned from daily purchases—directly into SHIB. This connects Shiba Inu to a major Japanese rewards program and a large customer base.
You can’t pay with SHIB directly, but you can exchange it for Rakuten Cash. Rakuten Cash is accepted at over five million stores through Rakuten Pay.
According to Shibizens, a popular Shiba Inu community account on X, SBI VC Trade is still offering its “Rent Coin” lending service, and Shiba Inu is one of the cryptocurrencies users can lend out.
The exchange supports lending for other major crypto assets such as BTC, ETH, XRP and Solana (SOL).
