According to some data from a place called Dune (sounds like a holiday resort, doesn’t it?), the total validator count now stands at 1,088,350. Staking activity, it seems, is still on the up and up. A significant development, indeed, following Ethereum’s rather lengthy period of, shall we say, ‘quiet contemplation’. 🤔

Lido, holding 25.6% of the total market share, is the top dog in this staking lark. They’ve got 8.94 million ETH stashed away. Binance, Coinbase, and ether.fi are trailing behind with 7.6%, 7.4%, and 6.45%, respectively. A regular bun fight for digital supremacy, what?

Some unidentified blighters account for 19.6% of the total Ethereum staked. Rather mysterious, if you ask me. Overall, the staking pattern reflects the growing diversification and adoption of other platforms like Ether.fi. One can only assume they know what they’re doing. 🤷‍♂️

Amidst all this, Ethereum has perked up considerably, its price climbing by over 8% in the last 24 hours. As of now, Ethereum is exchanging hands at $2,738.63, representing an 8.21% increase within this time frame. A spot of good news, eh?

As investors are busily engaging in transactions, there has also been a staggering spike in trading volume, up 118.46% to $32.69 billion. One almost feels sorry for the poor chaps having to count all that money. 😅

Ethereum ETFs and whales signal long-term confidence

In the broader crypto ecosystem, the asset is performing with a bullish twist, as Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded a 15-day streak of inflows. This development signaled whales preparing for massive price movement, supporting ETH’s outshine of Bitcoin in terms of ETF inflows. The whales, you see, are clearly up to something. Probably planning a jolly picnic on a desert island somewhere. 🏝️

Market participants are optimistic that the coin could register a significant uptick in June, riding on the back of ecosystem support. There are high expectations that, after a long period of consolidation, ETH might flip $3,000. Fingers crossed, what?
