<a href="https://jpyxx.com/rain-usd/">RAIN</a> Skyrockets 40% to New ATH, <a href="https://jpyxx.com/btc-usd/">BTC</a> Price Dumps by $3K Daily: Market Watch

After surging to $78,000 yesterday, Bitcoin’s price quickly fell about $3,000 due to a strong sell-off.

Most alternative cryptocurrencies with large market capitalizations are experiencing slow trading today, but RAIN has become one of them after its value increased by over 40%.

BTC Halted at $78K

Bitcoin recently reached over $82,000, but then began a significant drop in price. By May 16th, it fell below $80,000, and continued to decline, ultimately reaching a low of under $74,500 on May 23rd. This was its lowest price in over a month.

The price quickly rose after Trump suggested the US and Iran were nearing a lasting peace agreement. It initially reached $77,500, briefly dipped, and then climbed to $78,000 yesterday – a level it hadn’t seen in several days.

Things got a little shaky in the crypto market today. I was watching Bitcoin, and it dropped to around $76,000 when news started circulating about renewed conflict between the US and Iran – it looked like peace talks had fallen apart. Then, earlier today, it dipped even further to $75,200. Interestingly, this happened while analysts were pointing out a massive outflow of funds from BlackRock’s IBIT ETF – a really significant sale.

Despite a recent dip, Bitcoin has recovered a bit and is now trading around $76,000. Its total market value is currently $1.52 trillion, according to CoinGecko, and it accounts for 58% of the entire cryptocurrency market.

RAIN Outperforms

RAIN is the best-performing cryptocurrency among the top 100 today, surging over 44% and reaching a new peak of nearly $0.012. ICP and UB have also seen significant gains, increasing by 15% and 10% respectively, but not to the same extent as RAIN.

While HYPE is nearing its record high with a 4% jump today, most other cryptocurrencies are down. NEAR has fallen over 8%, and ZEC is down 6%. CC, ONDO, and WLFI are also experiencing losses. Ethereum is now trading below $2,100, and XRP is struggling to stay above $1.35.

The overall value of the cryptocurrency market has held steady around $2.6 trillion, currently sitting about $20 billion higher than that mark.
