The Top 10 Cryptos: A Rollercoaster of Gains!
Bitcoin (BTC) remains the king of the castle, prancing around at a strapping $104,780 after a modest 1% increase in the past 24 hours, and a rather impressive 9.77% rise over the week. Close on its heels, Ethereum ( ETH) has been on quite the tear, shooting up 4.71% in the last 24 hours, and a jaw-dropping 37.83% over the past week to a cool $2,522.86. Look out, Bitcoin—there’s a new contender in town!
It’s a two-horse race at the top, with BTC and ETH reigning supreme, claiming a combined 71.3% of the market. Solana ( SOL) made quite an impression this week, blasting up 19.42% to land at a very respectable $173.96. Not bad for a coin that isn’t even on everyone’s radar. Meanwhile, XRP and BNB managed to sneak in with solid weekly gains of 8.74% and 10.88%, despite looking a bit sleepy in the 24-hour trading battle.
Not to be outdone, the 24-hour trading volume across the market jumped by 4.90% to $137.7 billion. That’s a whole lot of people clicking the buy and sell buttons, if you ask me. Among the top daily movers, pi network (PI) had a proper good time, soaring 49.86%, followed by casper network (CSPR) at 47.96%, and—wait for it—peanut the squirrel (PNUT), who somehow managed to run up 39.10%. I mean, who knew squirrels were so good at crypto? 🐿️ On the downside, Ultima took a nosedive with a -14.42% drop, probably because it mistook ‘buy low, sell high’ for ‘buy high, sell low’—classic mistake.
All in all, the market continues to flex its muscles, showing strength despite the volatility, led by gains from both the heavy hitters and the plucky smaller coins.
