A phishing site impersonating Uniswap has drained crypto from multiple wallets.
A security researcher known as b-block has reported that attackers currently hold around $400,000 in two identified digital addresses, according to a recent alert shared on X.
Phishing Scammers Hit Crypto Users Again
The alert identified two wallets: 0x37925684BA178821b4436E06e67f5dBD6cfA49Bb and 0x2fC25F46cC49D226eF92E9A7665f3d2821F3c5E2. The analyst also advised traders to only use official links to access protocols and to double-check website addresses before approving any transactions.
This is not a new issue. Analysts have been raising warnings about phishing websites for months.

For weeks, a fake Uniswap website has been appearing at the top of Google search results. Several users have reported losing money after connecting their digital wallets to this convincing imitation. While the site is currently unavailable, the fraudulent URL remains active and could be used again by scammers. Please be cautious!

In February, Hayden Adams publicly criticized the phishing scams.
“These scams are horrible, we’ve been fighting them for years,” he said.
Uniswap experienced issues with fake apps pretending to be legitimate while they were waiting for Apple to approve their official app. Additionally, despite consistently reporting them, scam ads kept popping up again and again, according to Adams.
In the world of Decentralized Finance (DeFi), fake websites are now a major way scammers try to steal from people. They pay for online ads and create websites that look almost identical to legitimate DeFi platforms. Then, they trick users into approving harmful transactions.
The FBI’s latest report on internet crime revealed a surge in cryptocurrency-related fraud. In 2025, they received 181,565 complaints about crypto scams, resulting in a total of $11.36 billion in losses – a 22% jump from the previous year. On average, victims of these scams lost $62,604.
As an analyst, I’ve been tracking the significant financial impact of crypto-related scams. Just last year, we received over 7,000 complaints about phishing and spoofing attempts, resulting in reported losses exceeding $111 million. Looking at early 2024, data from Scam Sniffer indicates that sophisticated phishing attacks alone drained $6.27 million from cryptocurrency wallets in just the first month. This highlights the continued and evolving threat landscape within the crypto space.
Security experts recommend a few key steps to stay safe when using DeFi platforms: cancel any permissions you’re not actively using, double-check website addresses, and be cautious about clicking links in search results.
BeInCrypto has approached both Uniswap and Google for comment on the incident.
