Apparently, merging Swell and Apex is part of Ripple’s master plan to position XRP as “financial infrastructure.” Because nothing says “infrastructure” like a room full of developers and bankers trying to pretend they understand each other. Last year, they had BlackRock and Nasdaq execs-this year, who knows? Maybe Elon Musk will drop by to talk about Dogecoin.
The EVM sidechain rollout, smart contract adoption, XRPL staking-it’s all very impressive. But let’s not forget the real question: Will there be free Wi-Fi at the event? Priorities, people.
Of course, the XRP community is divided. Some are thrilled, others are worried the developers will get drowned out by the suits. Personally, I’m just here for the drama. Popcorn, anyone?
